Two important innovations were voted on by a landslide, marking a turning point for the Oltrepò Pavese Consortium compared to the past: a new statute and the revised DOCG disciplinary regulations. Two changes defined as “epochal” were voted on by the Assembly of Members to lay the groundwork for a genuine relaunch of the territory. With the Statute, the voting system, representation for smaller producers, and the enhancement of the supply chain were specifically addressed. With the new DOCG Disciplinary Regulations, the Oltrepò Pavese method was uniquely identified with a historic and recognizable name — Classese. Learn more here.
